I have an old Bell & Howell full spectrum floor lamp. The lamp burned out for the second time. The first replacement was not the same as the original so I ordered having a vague knowledge of the correct bulb and looks can be deceiving. The pins in the new lamp are slightly smaller in diameter than in previous lamps. The lamp is a bit loose and if moved it can loosen the connection at the base as I have experienced. A simple but tedious task is to reinsert the bulb firmly against the base. Otherwise, the light bulb will light up when working. I bought this lamp as a quick replacement as I am about to buy new floor lamps. These floor lamps do not light up unless you turn your head back and up. Make sure you have information about your lamps to get the correct lamp code to order the correct lamp. I will be buying Torchier lamps to replace these.
