Discover the Authentic Power of Verilux CFML27VLX Natural Spectrum Review

I was looking forward to this lamp when trying to find a replacement for my lamp . When it arrived it was a big disappointment. It was not a true Verilux CFML27VLX Natural Spectrum lamp, it was a true Verilux W27VLX Natural Spectrum lamp and it does not match my lamp. Very disappointed. Mary X

The Amazon description says it is genuine Verliux but I suspect it is not! I ordered this bulb three weeks ago and it has already burned out. I ordered it online because it's so much easier than trying to find a replacement. Previous Verilux lamps have served me for many years and have never been released. I cannot recommend this provider. book somewhere else!

The lamp supplied with the original lamp has lasted at least 6 years. The one after that also took a long time, probably about 5 years. My last bulb change took less than 2 months. I loved this light so much that I replaced the original 3 years ago, but such a crappy job with the last bulb combined with a cost of almost $20 I was looking for a replacement. I didn't want to mess with a cheap fake brand so I ran for more money and replaced my original Verilux lamp with another Verilux lamp shocked, that a new lamp using EXACTLY the same model CFML27VLX is now made 1/4 inch wider than the lamp with the same model number as me. The base fits well, but the problem is that the new bulb feels too wide for the metal spring clip that holds the bulb in place, away from the plastic diffuser cover. Originally bought this table lamp about 6 years ago. The lamp lasted over 3 years, bought the original replacement and it only lasted about 1 1/2 years. I bought another genuine replacement lamp which only lasted 11 months. Bought another replacement and now it's blown after only 6 months! Lamp life seems to be cut in half with each replacement. It must be said that Verilux is a leader in the manufacture of lamps. I bought one of these bulbs about five or six years ago and it lasted until THIS year (2017). I have an old Bell & Howell full spectrum floor lamp. The lamp burned out for the second time. The first replacement was not the same as the original so I ordered having a vague knowledge of the correct bulb and looks can be deceiving. The pins in the new lamp are slightly smaller in diameter than in previous lamps. The lamp is a bit loose and if moved it can loosen the connection at the base as I have experienced.
