The heat shrink worked great with both torch and heat gun

Seems to crimp well and hold wires well. I usually crimp most splices twice, just to be sure. I had a few slips after the first crimp, but they were probably 22-24 gauge wires, and I found that shrink butt connectors tend to do this anyway. The heat shrink worked great with both the torch and heat gun.
