2 out of 3 packs were so hard I threw them away. I couldn't break them with my hands. I don't use the whole bag at once so I didn't grab a hammer and make a mess. Used the 3rd and got a rash. Maybe it was a random time. Due to the hardness, the product is assumed to be old or exposed to the elements.
