I bought these cables because they were a bit longer and inexpensive. The first cable lasted about 2 weeks before the cable shorted out. Which is typical of all cables I've bought so I bought a small cable protector and the second cable lasted about the same amount of time before it had problems but this time it seems to be the connector itself that goes into my phone . . So I threw that away too. I'm on the third and have no hope so I bought more cables from another company. If you just want a cheap cable that you don't use very often that's probably fine, but if you use it as much as I do I wouldn't buy it again.
