We have two 3 light sconces in our master bathroom that I switched to these LEDs instead of halogens about 3 or 4 years ago. We had a halogen blast (no one was hurt) which prompted the switch, also I was looking for more durability and wanted to reduce power consumption. Basically, I like them better. They're bright enough, although not as bright as halogens, and I suggest going with "Day White" since "Warm White" is very yellow (we've tried both). They run significantly cooler, supposedly use less power, but never last as long as the manufacturer claims. In our experience, LEDs are not suitable (we use a lot of them). I'd say it could take an average of a year and a half for each bulb. Most of all, I love the greener benefits of LEDs, which is our main reason for using them.
