Review on Healers Medical Dog Boots and Gauze Bandages: Complete Box Set with 2 Boots and 2 Gauze Pads in Blue by Renee Sweet

Ordered a medium size for our 63 lb Weimeraner. She has graceful legs compared to, say, a German shepherd; not so wide and flat. Of course I was concerned about the size, but I used the chart as a guide. The boots arrived today and out of the box they looked about an inch wider than her paw. I figured they would show up in no time. NOT CORRECT! I am more than satisfied with these boots. They all announce, and then some. 1) Very easy and quick to put on. 2) Do not twist during use or during use. Bonus! 3) Super Velcro! LOL Due to the way they attach in a couple of places, even if the boots are a bit wider/taller, they go on and on because of the velcro. 4) So comfy my dog won't pretend he's on it! Our girl came out of surgery and had a growth removed from her paw. The bandages were removed as soon as the boots arrived. The vets said the wound needs to breathe, but not only do these boots allow you to do that, they have a sticky side bandage insert so it doesn't move if the wound gets wet while it's healing. The wound was infected for the first time with our "boots of another brand", this time our girl does not spoil her paw and heals! I'm so happy I'm going to buy some tennis shoes so she can wear something fun when we go out. My girl is my seizure prevention dog and I've been through so many boots. That was the only thing that was good for her. Thanks very much! UPDATE: It's been a few weeks since I ordered the boots. Our dog is a very smart girl and yes she could take them off if my husband put them on. When I put them on, I take off the boot and wrap it to make sure it stays on. She doesn't like it, but it's better than licking her fresh surgery and re-infecting her. With so much care, her boots stay in and her wound is able to breathe and heal while still being protected when she goes outside for potty breaks. She is happy and healthy; always our main goal for our furry family member. These boots are top notch!
