When I first looked at this item I wasn't impressed because it looked cheap and like the texture was glossy instead of matte. I was going to send it back but I liked the color so I decided to just open it anyway. I'm glad I did because it actually has a nice soft matte texture - I just couldn't tell because it was wrapped in clear shiny plastic. The bright yellow is really pretty and unique and I love the cut out Apple logo. I was also happy to see that I could open the screen more than 90 degrees (some other cases I've read reviews about couldn't). The only downer is that the backlighting of the keys does not shine through when the keyboard is closed. The small handles on the underside don't seem very handy either. Otherwise I am satisfied with the purchase and the price-performance ratio is right.
