I love these fairy lights! I've had older ones, but they took batteries that I figured I'd keep changing (I use rechargeable batteries on them). . I have two sets of these and both work perfectly. I have a set to transition from one color to another, which is a nice feature. You can also set individual colors or multiple flashing settings on the remote control. I also like that there is a little button on the plug so you can still turn the light on if you lose your remote (which I do sometimes). I seem to keep a few of these little remotes for Christmas items, so I like to do something like "Strand A" on the fork and on the remote with a silver marker so I know what goes where. Sometimes the remote will work with other similar lights, so if the remotes are really messed up you can always get a remote to work! You can also set the remote to turn on/off based on a time (e.g. 4 hours, 24 hours, etc.). They "remember" to turn on at the same time the next day! I like the brightness and the fact that they are long. I usually wrap my towels around an empty towel roll to keep them from getting tangled. And I like the twisted shape of the cord when you take it out of the tube. All in all great lights!
