My daughter loved the rose gold theme for her 16th birthday. The 16 balloons were the perfect size! I didn't know birthday balloons didn't fly. I thought I didn't pump enough helium into it, so I inflated and popped the second one. My fault! Tip: A small helium tank (from Party City) wasn't enough. There are many balloons. I would recommend at least 2 tanks. As mentioned, confetti balloons are a bit heavier, but with the right amount of helium, they worked perfectly! I also grossly underestimated the time it would take to inflate all the balloons, tie them, and tie them to the rope. I would allow a few hours for setup in the future.
