As a person with vascular problems (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), I have worn EXTREMELY many compression stockings. So I will have a different rating than those who have this first pair. They are quite effective despite having a very pink color that few actually have. They curl up a little at the top and slip a few inches after 6+ hours of wear. They have graduated compression, meaning it's strongest on the foot (15-20mmg/hr actually) and decreases more as we get closer to the hip. This can be an advantage or a disadvantage depending on what you are looking for. They're great for staying under the knees and cutting off blood flow when the knee is bent (a HUGE problem with most compression stockings), they're soft and feel good. But I've only had them for a few months so we'll see how they hold up over time (my last pair from another brand lasted 9 months with almost daily wear). - Highs that stay in place, they're great, just not the best option for medical issues.
