My oldest dog (size XL) just turned fourteen. She has Cushing's disease which has weakened her leg muscles to such an extent that she can't stretch well for the dog without her legs slipping out from under her. I ordered them hoping they would hold on to her legs like others have said, but on ours they fall off after a day. (As long as they are in place they work great.) I followed the instructions, washed and dried her paws, trimmed the fur between the pads and glued these stickers into one continuous piece and trimmed them to fit each pad - it's always the same, the same result. A day or two at most. This may work for small "house" dogs that don't take long walks, but if you have a puppy that still enjoys being active and you don't want to buy/use them on a daily basis, I would look for another solution.
