Compare to RoadPro Hot Pot 20oz

I really like this product because it has a stainless steel interior compared to RoadPro's plastic. But the main reason I'm returning this is because the connector gets too hot, I'm afraid to plug it into my car to test. I was concerned my car's only 12 volt outlet would blow the fuse, so I used a 10 amp 12 volt battery to test it. Pros: - Stainless steel exterior and clean look - Stainless steel interior for a healthier drink (see picture: interior bottom is not flat, it will be difficult to clean if someone boils water other than water) - 12v and 10 amps, 600ml of water is heated for 15 minutes to a temperature that easily burns your tongue if you drink too quickly. (not verified how long to boiling point) - The top cap is screwed tight and the double wall construction has some insulating properties. After 15 minutes you burn your finger and hear a buzzing sound near the plug. I think this will either blow your fuse or burn out the unit even with little use. - There will be a few drops of water in the bottle, no matter how hard you shake the bottle upside down (shake up and down vigorously and leave straight), I can't get water. (see picture) - this unit uses about 20% more power than the RoadPro, I tested it twice with the same result. - the plastic on top looks pretty cheap and rough, but that doesn't really matter. Finally, I decided to keep the uglier and more unhealthy 20-ounce RoadPro plastic hot pot so I could have peace of mind knowing nothing was going to burn in my car while I was boiling water. The RoadPro and this unit hold about the same amount of water, although the RoadPro looks bigger and bulkier. The RoadPro fork gets hot too, but not as hot as this unit, I'm not worried about blowing my car's fuse. Anyone wanting to try the RoadPro 20 oz Hot Pot please note it will not fit in a cup holder, it is huge! Again, I really, really want to like this device. but fortunately I have to return this block. It is sad.
