Easy setup with Echo Dot

I bought this for my bedroom echo as it gets a little muted at times and I wanted to play some music in an adjoining room. Pairing was easy and it sounds good. I love the light but since it's for my bedroom I was glad it could be turned off. It's currently plugged into a USB port on my power strip, so I can't confirm battery life. takes up too much space and is very light (without batteries).
