I bought a tray and am using it with a tripod to position the projector at a specific height. My tripod is very common for cameras. The tray is easy to attach to a tripod. No additional tools are required. The connection of the tablet and tripod is stable enough for projection. So far the tray is doing its job. No defects have yet been identified. I will come back to update the review when I have more information about the product. BTW, while it's lightweight, you probably don't want to drop the (metal) tray on your toes.
