TL;DR Pros: - practically no dust (in fact, there is no dust yet) - no unpleasant odors - (personal opinion) thin, slightly fresh aroma Cons: - I'll clarify if I can find it. maybe it's simple and efficient. I recently got a cat (first cat of my life) and after an incredible amount of research I gave up the stuff and went to Dr. Elsie's Precious Cat Ultra Cat Litter. That's great too, don't get me wrong. But it's better IMHO. I noticed that dr. Elsie even tracked down a decent amount with a toilet mat, but I didn't know any better. There was also that particular litter box smell (faint because Dr. Elsie is doing a good job, but still noticeable). Since I keep mine in my bedroom, this wasn't ideal. As my kitty used the box and covered her things, I could smell and smell dust in the air, although there should be little or no dust. I thought I would have to live with that. NO. I tried it out on a whim because so many people were in awe of how little it smelled. It has a faint, fresh aroma that I only notice when pouring or scooping. Those of you who are very sensitive to smells might not like this, but I still recommend you at least try. It's a fairly faint/light scent. When I first poured it I expected there would be a cloud of dust, but there wasn't. Literally none. I don't have asthma so here's the thing, but I'm usually very sensitive to dust and particles in the air and it didn't bother me at all. When the kitten uses the box and digs, nothing gets into the room - no dust, no smell. Note: It also looks more like sand, which for some reason surprised me. The filler I used before had larger granules and was more bulky. I like it more because it's easier/less messy to craft. Other things weren't dirty or difficult to clean in and of themselves, but more than that.
