Absolutely normal.
Not bad value for money. The largest end is a bit big for me and comfortable to keep my finger on, but the narrow end did the job well enough. I would like the curved edge to be better for scraping, but the side edges work, it's just easier to sweep over the surface than it is to scrape. If I had a way to bend the curve to the big end and narrow it, I would do it. For the price it's worth it. They are strong, no peeling paint or anything like that. They keep you warm very well. If you are looking for a titanium nail cleaner, look no further.
