Bought to protect eyes and contact lenses from drying out. These glasses really work. You don't sweat. They have relatively good transparency. The shade is just right for me, not too dark to ride from dawn to dusk. The shade is just perfect for an afternoon ride in Arizona. No weird shine. They sit comfortably on my head. The lateral view is also not obstructed. Bought another style in a transparent look that somewhat blocks side peripheral vision. I liked these in the smoky color so much that I bought another pair in the clear color. Highly recommended.
