After seeing so many good reviews I decided to try this product despite being very wary of cheap Chinese made electronics. After receiving the iHomy toilet night light, I immediately noticed a bulge on the battery cover, it's ok, we managed to put the batteries in. Tried turning it on, doesn't work. The instructions say it works in the dark, I tried it in the dark, it doesn't work. The motion sensor does not seem to register anything, does not light up despite pressing a button or waving in front of the sensor. That's probably what a person gets when they buy cheap Chinese goods. To be fair, not all Chinese products are bad, but we have found that cheap Chinese electronics often break and should therefore be avoided as they are more likely to break or break within a short period of time. Chinese electronics manufacturers save too much to keep prices down and focus mainly on return on investment. Cell phone chargers are a perfect example. A large number of positive reviews about this toilet night light suggest that they are fake reviews or "bribed" reviews. There are well-known Chinese suppliers/manufacturers who only hire people who write positive bulk reviews or gift items in order to get massive rave reviews and increase sales.
