I bought these for my son to wear when he plays in the snow and he actually decided he really liked them before he even walked out the door. He liked that they were softly lined, that they had 3 zippered pockets and were also lined with soft material, and the reflective stitching on them. They're really big, but all we had to do was tuck his shirt in and roll up the edges a few times and it worked. His pants were warm and almost dry when he was out in the snow. He will probably be able to wear them next year because the waist and length are larger than expected. For the record, he's 10 and skinny. He usually wears a size 9 or 10 depending on the manufacturer and if the pants I buy have laces (these don't).
