If you want a flat, thin display that displays the image you're sending it over HDMI or VGA with a refresh rate of up to 60Hz and a resolution of up to 1080p, this is the display for you. There really are no tricks here. Heck, there aren't even speakers. There is a "Game Mode" but it's just a preset with less latency and increased brightness. If you don't need a high-performance gaming display that can sync with up to twelve other monitors, this will do. This is the pinnacle of 1080p with no frills. I like it. You can even set it up so the LED is on when the device is idle and off when you're using it, giving you a completely non-invasive display. Not even buttons on the front, just a joystick button on the back for navigating menus and turning the device on and off. As pure and simple as possible. Do I sometimes miss the speakers? Sure, but as part of a proper setup you'll have a set of external speakers anyway, and in the office you'll have headphones (or you'll plug in a laptop with built-in speakers). This is a great monitor if you only need one monitor. And if you look inside yourself, it probably is. PS The colors in the video appear slightly muted. Color grading can be a nightmare. It's brighter than that.
