Review on 💡 APC Black Surge Protector 2-Pack: 6 Outlet Power Strips with Surge Protection, 1080 Joule, PE66DP by Dustin Keller

I was interested in this article because it says 1080 joules. The article I was looking at had a 6 foot cord. but on the same page they included a 3 inch cable option and I chose to think all else would be the same. Unfortunately it isn't. The joule rating for the model with the 3ft cord was only 540 (and to their credit, they list that elsewhere on the page). But it seems like if they offer a specific option (in this case 3ft cable instead of 6ft) the buyer can expect all other specs to be the same, which is why I'm not looking at footer specs 3 looked so closely. In any case, I thought No problem, I'll just return it for the one with the longer cord and higher rating, but they wanted me to pay for the return postage too. I guess I'll just keep the one they sent and hope there won't be excessive surges in my future.
