Review on π Denso 234-4156 Oxygen Sensor: Advanced Performance for Optimal Fuel Efficiency and Emissions Control by Brant Skogen
Fits MR2 3S-GTE Turbo
I ordered the oxygen sensor 234-4156 for my 1993 Toyota MR2 Turbo 2.0L 3S-GTE engine and it doesn't fit. This is meant to be an OEM replacement but this part has a ring around the sensor making it too wide to fit the hole. The original sensor does not work. Update: At the recommendation of another reviewer, I ordered and installed a Walker Products 250-24156 4-wire oxygen sensor and it fits and works properly. However, I had to widen the hole in the heat shield a bit with a Dremel tool to allow the shield to fit over the sensor.
