Review on External USB Video Capture Card by Mark Hayes

I wanted to convert 10 VHS videos I have to digital format. Knowing I would be editing videos, I decided to convert it straight to my computer. This product connects seamlessly to my VHS/DVD player and then directly to my computer. The problem came with the software. It's very, very difficult to use unless you're a computer pro and can't figure out how to program sound. My VHS video played on my computer and I was able to record it on my computer. However, the recommended software OBS Project, free and open source software, does not play any sound. I've tried it on both PC and Mac. Nothing. Downloaded two different drivers, nothing. I followed three tutorials, nothing. I give up. I'm not sure what to do now.
