The last time I did any serious woodwork (making a new case for my wife's inherited silver) to hold the corners while the glue set was I only have my set of old iron clips that I inherited from my father-in-law. Heavy, wobbly, prone to scratching, and generally awkward to use. The braces he gave me weren't much better. Recently I was asked to build a toy box and I went to the workshop and looked at these brackets for a long and painful time. Then I went back in and launched amazom.com to see what else might be in there. Wow, I found this tape clip. It was a pleasure to use. I was able to glue and install the entire box in one go because the tape clip could be pre-assembled; the bonding is done and then the clamp is put on and tightened quickly and with one hand. It was also lightweight, so it stayed right where I placed it in the project; no slipping or twisting under the weight of the clamp handle. So I learned my lesson; Tests are still not available online, but at least now I can limit the abuse to special occasions like Thanksgiving or birthdays. So I made it happen for me.
