Disclaimer; I got it for Christmas and it wasn't bought by Revain. I'm commenting here because I hope the manufacturer reads this and pulls this product off the market and fires their R&D people. Short version: It fails on all counts (with the possible exception of keeping drinks hot, I didn't get to that). The coupe tea leaf is a great idea, but the tea has nowhere to expand. Have you ever brewed really delicious tea? They often triple in volume when soaked. The department is too small. The lid doesn't close at all. There is no thread, you just have to put it on and hope that the rubber stopper seals. As the previous commenter said, it leaks. Which is not good for leaving or drinking from the house. I also agree with the previous commenter's remark that the lid catch is just below the hole I have to drink from. Are you basically sucking the locking mechanism every time I take a sip? But the worst was when I started making tea in it. I flipped it over as instructed (I didn't feel safe so at least I did it over the sink) and it exploded all over the place. (Don't get burned, friends!) Clearly exploded everywhere, tk. Is the lid screwed on with a rubber O-ring? Has anyone ever tried this with boiling liquid before passing it on to the consumer? do you know how to make tea Save money friends. That's not what you want.
