These socks have been a blessing to my Aussie who has a paralyzed hind leg; I am ordering 6 more pairs today. We have a laminate floor that he would not be able to walk on without them as they give him more support as he regains his strength and ability to walk with the help of chiropractic and acupuncture. I only gave them 4 stars because the velcro on the toes (where his foot is widest) is too high and the socks slide down and slide off, so I cut off the velcro and wrapped it up. around the toe in a lower spot over his foot, problem solved! I also paint a "Rug Backing" (which is washable) on the sides of the socks, between the paw shaped handles, so he still retains support when the socks are rotated sideways on his legs. I have tried another more expensive brand (Expawlorers) but they are superior as the paw shaped handles grip better, are more durable, take a lot more abuse without coming off the socks and are easier to get on my dog's paws . I love the checkered design and the colors used, it's so cute! Thank you for this GREAT product!
