I know that previous models had problems with the drive belt, but the feedback has been positive after the manufacturer updated this system. I've had it on my catamaran for over a year now and it's great. It's an easy setup, and the "Admiral" loves it, as does the guest. One of the best upgrades I've done on a boat. And contrary to one of the other reviews, we don't get any "residue" after washing. We have a wildcard valve that normally prevents backflow and a check valve upstream when our collection tank is up.
