Great update, best in emissions analyzers

This replaces the manual toilet in the boat and has been an amazing upgrade so far. Replacing a competitor's product made installation a little tricky, but if you have good head/hands it's doable. After installation, the toilet worked great, the "stench" from the manual toilet was gone, and guests were happy with the upgrade. Worth the investment.

  • Looking forward to

Upgrade belt and flush 4 times

I had to take this thing apart and replace it with a wider belt after 3 months of minimal use. They sent me a free replacement, but of course I didn't install it. Sitting on it is creaky and noisy. You have to flush it the entire 2nd full cycle (4 flushes total) or you still have what was originally flushed. I've had more than 2 years with this thing so take my word for it. It always drips a bit. Let me know if you find a better design. I'll probably go with Lavak next. Or any raritan.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I'm worried

Poor fit - tools and equipment

Benefits: Bolt holes match Jabsco manual toilet. It uses the same plumbing as the Jabsco manual toilet. much more space in the back than in a manual toilet.) The seat is very small, uncomfortable for tall people. Seems cheaper than a manual toilet. Cannot be used with pressurized fresh water systems. the water hose lies completely on the nipple. The hose goes into the back of the toilet before stopping.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long wait

Great upgrade. for diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

I know that previous models had problems with the drive belt, but the feedback has been positive after the manufacturer updated this system. I've had it on my catamaran for over a year now and it's great. It's an easy setup, and the "Admiral" loves it, as does the guest. One of the best upgrades I've done on a boat. And contrary to one of the other reviews, we don't get any "residue" after washing. We have a wildcard valve that normally prevents backflow and a check valve upstream when our…

Poor flushing of tools and equipment

The toilet fits where needed although not a replacement for the seaclos I had. I had to relocate water and sewer lines. The fresh water pump is not running smoothly. It looks like it's struggling in a couple of places during the loop. However, it hasn't broken yet. My biggest concern is water management. As others have pointed out, there is no fresh water rinse when flushing. Either I flush twice or the toilet stinks pretty quickly. I think Jabsco could reprogram the device to inject a small…

Works but could be better

I bought the toilet because it needed the exact same footprint as the manual toilet on my boat. There was no extra space in the boat for anything but the toilet fit. So far we've only used the toilet for number one, but it seems to be working fine. However, they designed it to work in a weird way. You press the button once and it fills with water, you go about your work, press the button again and it fills with water and then rinses without adding fresh water to flush the bowl as it empties…

Don't buy this toilet. It has a design flaw.

Do not buy this toilet. It has a design flaw. I had 2 cancellations. When my SECOND light flush failed, I called Jabsco. They told me that this toilet has a known problem and that many of them are out of service. The problem, according to Jabsco, is that the belt and gear assembly isn't strong enough to handle the engine's torque. They are in the process of remodeling the toilet and are hoping to launch a new one next year. In the meantime, if your device breaks, they'll send you a repair kit…

Very good boat toilet.

Our old marine toilet didn't work properly. Those of you who have boats are familiar with potty problems and bad smells. Yay! We choose the model of foot pump on the advice of our installer. What a great upgrade, it's so easy to use and leaves the bowl completely empty so odors don't get back into the boat even after a week of inactivity. We used to not flush the old toilet at night so as not to annoy people on neighboring boats, but with this model that's not a problem. It's like an airplane…
