Just received today - very nice and bright. Fast charging, easy installation under the bathroom cabinet on the wall next to the toilet with the sensor down. The motion sensor doesn't turn on the light if I enter the bathroom within ten feet, only if I pass almost directly in front of it within two or three feet. It appears to have a somewhat narrow range, less than 180 degrees, and requires significant movement to stay in place. It turns off after about fifteen seconds unless I consistently move within a two to three foot range of it. As a result, he doesn't work long enough to go to the bathroom and wash his hands in the sink across the room. I've tried putting it face up on top of the first aid kit and even on a floor stand underneath so the sensor can see my movements better - same results. I fired another shot facing my desk in the large dark room and headed straight for it - of course it went in when I got within two to ten feet. If it stayed on for thirty seconds, that would be perfect. I still give it an excellent rating. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite meet my expectations of the bathroom. I'll probably try using it in a closet where it can feel more movement. It's great that you can simply detach it in the event of a power failure and carry it around with you as a flashlight.
