So here's the thing. I changed the oil and sure enough the technician came out and showed me my air filter. Sure, it looked pretty messy, but it didn't look that bad. Anyway, they wanted $40 change and figured it's not that expensive online, I'll just do it myself. So after a few "no thanks" he left me and I got my car back. I went home, opened my favorite online store and found one that had good reviews and didn't seem too expensive. I received it a few days later, pulled the YouTube video and easily changed the filter with no problems. And I have to admit that the old one was VERY different than the new one - after all, it was pretty dirty. Anyway, I'm driving the car and I think it feels that way because the car accelerates better than before. I'm crazy? Hysteria? nope Who would have thought that a car needs clean air to run? I'll be checking my filters regularly now and forever, and living in the Arizona desert with dust storms galore, I'm an idiot if I don't do it sooner. I apologized to Wanda, my trusty Honda, and promised clean air would come in.
