These small flameless candles look great alone or in votive holders. Candles give off a very warm light that flickers and pulsates like real candles. The knob is a handy feature, it has multiple effect settings and brightness settings that I haven't seen on such small flameless candles. The only drawback was the battery life. The seller, which I highly recommend, put batteries in the candles and put another set of batteries in the package, which was very thoughtful. The candles used up the built in batteries and battery pack sooner than I expected. I bought new candle batteries and used up the energy in the new batteries pretty quickly. The candles have a moving plastic "flame" and a blinking/flashing LED. I think the movement of the flame can drain the batteries faster than other flameless candles of the same size. If you are looking for tealight sized candles with a realistic flickering/moving flame effect for a special event or short period of time I would recommend these candles. If you need something everyday with a longer battery life, you can choose another type of flameless candle. That being said the candles were dispatched very quickly with an extra set of batteries - I would have had no problem purchasing other items from this seller. The seller is attentive, professional and prompt!
