This is a great receiver for the money.
Don't blame this radio for the mediocre reception - the entire RF spectrum has been in a dead zone for a number of years. This receiver has all the features I appreciate and I can see it will last quite a while. On the other side of this "dead zone" I expect it to be of great benefit. I keep it in an anti-static bag to protect it from high EMFs like EMP or solar flares.
