Review on ZFE Non Woven Burnishing Polishing Pad by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It works and comes with 4 rolls

You will receive a simple Asian copy of an instrument that originally retailed for $300 or more. There are NO instructions in the booklet that comes with it, although there is a parts diagram. This does not match the model I received. The top handle is attached to the shield, there is no other mount for it. The leaflet is very ESL and mostly contains warnings not to kill yourself with this tool. Most buyers will have no problem with assembly just by looking at the details. Nice long cord. The roller wheel to protect the workpieces from the back wall can be mounted at the front or at the rear. This can use drums with 2 slots or keyways or 4. It comes with 4 drums with 4 slots. They are not marked. It features soft start control, meaning it will accelerate to a set speed rather than instantaneously when you pull the trigger. There is a trigger lock. There is also a spindle lock. You will receive 2 square wrenches that fit into the shaft to hold the drum. They drop out when changing roles. I plan on making a hole in the shaft with one punch so they stay in place. All the bolts were tight and I tried to strip the paint off the fender. Works well so should work as long as the bearings or gears don't wear out. With such imports, it can be months or years. For the most part I got lucky, so I'll recommend it to more expensive alternatives. It is better to remove the paint with a drum with alternating folding disks. If you plan to use it to work on cars, buy several beater drums at once.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
