Other reviews pointed out common mistakes in the same place on the strap, but didn't describe where this spot was. The rubber that holds the "buckle" at the end of the strap is torn. See picture of the fault location. My original group lasted over a year. I made several unsuccessful repair attempts with superglue before looking online for this replacement. I hope this replacement band will last longer with the two new pins. A very useful tool.
