Review on PEYOU Extendable Mounting Mirrorless Smartphone by Megan Davis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As cheap as can be but it works great!

I do a lot of reviews on Revain products. I used to shoot product videos with my HD camcorder until the iPhone camera was as sophisticated as it is today. In fact, I'm willing to bet that most people have given up their camcorders in favor of their phones. And when you want your videos to be steady or hands-free, a tripod like this really comes in handy. I really didn't want to spend a lot of money. This isn't a product I intend to use outside the home so I didn't expect to abuse it. I wanted a tripod for my iPhone XS Max that is cheap but workable. This tripod meets all requirements perfectly. The tripod comes in an inexpensive carrying case. The tripod itself makes a decent impression for the price. It is made of aluminum and is height adjustable by 50 inches. It weighs just over a pound so it's really light. Along with the tripod you get a mount that allows you to mount your phone in both portrait and landscape orientation. This is due to the expanding "claws" of the mount itself. Attaching and holding the phone in the mount seems delicate enough to avoid scratching the sides of your expensive device. You also get a blinds remote that connects to your phone via Bluetooth. It allows you to take pictures or start/stop videos remotely. The battery is included in the roller shutter remote control. What's also really cool about this tripod is that it has a spirit level that tells you your phone is level so your videos or photos don't look crooked. Lucky for the price I have to say. It's simple but feature-packed and well-designed so you can use it anytime. Highly recommended!
