First of all the watch looks fantastic! I bought a big watch and it's a monster! It's big, it's heavy, and it shouldn't just be ignored. Some size and weight will be off-putting but that was my goal so it's perfect. This smart watch looks like a watch! The tweaks you can make to a face can make it your own (that'll be bad later). Everything about the watch itself is beautifully made and true to Fossil quality. Activity and heart rate tracking aligns exactly with other watches I've worn at the same time. So far the battery life looks like it's going to be around 2 weeks, although I've been playing around with it and switching faces while making my favorites. Software, on the other hand, seems to be an afterthought. Tracking information is not displayed as well as on my other watches (Garmin, Withings and Android). The setup leaves a lot to be desired both in terms of access and its limitations. For a branded watch, I would have expected at least one of the predefined watch faces to have the Fossil logo on it. no You get Fossil logos on templates to use to design your own watch, but when you put them on for the first time I feel like it detracts from the experience. There are several places where you can get custom watch faces and some of them are great and I was able to use the templates along with custom images to create my own watch faces. I just hope the software gets better. In general. Would I buy this again? YES / YES! Would I recommend it, YES after pointing out the app's shortcomings. (hence minus 1 star) Is it worth taking? If you like the look then YES.
