If you're not the type who prefers Goochi boots and only hunts with silver ammo, you'll be very happy with the JHBOX 20-60x60 spotting scopes. When I picked up the package from the porch, the first thing I noticed was that it was heavier than I expected. It was a bonus. (A few months ago to save money I ordered a very cheap trash can toy and it looked like it was in a box of Cracker Jacks. Uh-huh.) I've been shooting a spotting scope for about 30 years. See, I don't mind stretching my legs well while pacing back and forth from the goal. Well, actually yes, but I've had all sorts of excuses for not investing in a scope. (One of the reasons was the high cost). The scope says 25x75. (Bent. I don't know. Maybe.) The kit comes with a pretty good tripod for the money. The quality is not studio but good enough. It will hold the position once you set it. The telescope, and this is it, has a somewhat loose lens cap. It doesn't matter. And it comes with a screw-on cup that fits over the lens. Don't try to rip it off like I did. Unscrew it. It's actually a good defensive touch. The set also included a nice carrying case with a strap and a lens cleaning cloth. In other words, it's well put together and thought out. I confess I wasn't on the training ground with him. i just got it However, I did a garden test. After playing around and looking at things in the distance, I came across what I thought was a metal building. Well, let me get the range finder and I'll tell you for sure. I'll be back soon. Ha! On the way to the proving ground, I hit 90 yards and then cut it down to 85. It was 85 yards toward this building. From this distance I could clearly see the propellers on the side as if I were no more than 4 feet away. So it should work great at the shooting range. Satisfied! Oh, and by the way, the ultimate test of optics is long distance at maximum magnification. Far from the view I would give the optics about 90. The stain is blurry, but not enough to worry about. You pay a lot more for something better. NASA probably wouldn't put up with that, but for us farm workers, the prospects are pretty damn good. I could easily see the top terminals of the transformer, which must have been half a mile away. I can finally see near/far. I use some advanced goggles. After I removed the hooks, the scope's focus (the grip in front) moved the gaze straight at me. The power switch is located on the eyepiece. Just a short twist to go from low to high. You could pay a lot more for a small improvement. As I said before, this is a thoughtful design, not something that was just assembled. This is a legitimate tool and well worth the price for the average user. You will have a lot of fun with your JHBOX 20-60x60 spotting scopes. (Uh. 25x75)
