Review on Gingher 01 005272 Inc by Sasha Hsiao

I've been a die-hard Gingher fan for a long time, there's nothing quite as fancy and quality as their products. An absolute must for a sewing kit. I trust their products for their quality and can never go wrong with anything you buy from them. I've never seen these pink knife scissors in a store and for $25 here on Amazon they seemed like a great buy. They were also shipped and sold by Amazon, which usually indicates quality and genuine products. When I received it in the mail I was skeptical. They do not come with the original Gingher tin that comes with all Gingher products, nor the leather blade guard that comes with all Gingher items. The plastic packaging was the same. On closer inspection, it says "Made for Fiskar Products" at the bottom of the back. I have never owned a Gingher product that says Fiskar (completely different company). I tested them on different types of fabric. They are sharp but very tough and very heavy. They also have an uncomfortable grip. Unlike Gingher scissors, they cannot be used for a long time due to their lack of functionality. A drop of oil in the screw will help reduce stiffness but will not eliminate the discomfort. I'm not sure if this is a genuine Gingher product, but if it is, unfortunately I don't recommend it.
