I read the reviews first and decided not to take this and went to the shoe store instead. I took my shoes to a shoe store where a guy is 60-70 years old and he told me that shoes cannot be stretched. He said never use ice. He said the toe was hard, I said I had to stretch the sides not the top of the shoe. I said I don't need you to make them longer just wider near the toes on the side. He told me I was wasting my money but he would try. His old-fashioned technique stretched the back of my shoe at my ankle, which was perfectly normal. Now it's free. Don't go to the shoe store. Get them if your shoes are shaped like the photos I shared. After a few hours I could feel the difference. I didn't try to turn the guide while in the trunk, I spread it wide before placing it in the trunk and then pushed the stretcher in. Too bad I didn't do it first. The old big blocks stretch on the sides when you just need toe room on most pumps. Look how wide they have a shoe, and the shoe without a stretcher is narrow. Look how wide it opened when I put both shoes on. It worked and I highly recommend you try them out before you go to the shoe store or put your shoes in the freezer.
