The upper elastic is too strong. The largest size is still small for my height 13ft. After 16 days of mountaineering, the sock fell off badly and got holes in the toes and heels. I changed two pairs of socks, rinsed one pair with cold water and put the other on. The very slow drying socks were pinned to the outside of my backpack on rather dry and windy days. On wet days I don't think they dry at all. They are not suitable for long hikes. I feel like I wasted my money believing all the hype surrounding these bamboo socks.
