Started well now sorry

UPDATE #2: 14 months and it's terrible. The entire surface of the lens is cracked. I use standard incandescent bulbs, nothing that should cause heat issues. UPDATE: 11 months with these lights and I'm disappointed. The lenses break and have a kind of glazing (see picture). What started out as a good looking product with few installation issues turned into a waste of money. I installed a "smoke" version of these headlights on my 2004 Avalanche. The lens tint is perfect, dark enough to give it a bit of a look but doesn't affect the effectiveness of your headlight. They fit well but need some adjustment. There are no problems with the top knots. There are 2 problems with the lower assemblies: 1. The front turn signal does not seat properly like the others. I see them falling out. I fix this by wrapping a strip of vinyl tape around the gasket to hold it in place and keep moisture out. The mounting clip for the outer edge is not securely fixed. With the pin holding the top, I undid the plastic clip while it was in place to help it expand better. This improved the fit and should be fine. I probably decided to put some foam/rubber in the area to make sure it stayed flat and closed. One final note on humidity. It seems like the most common problem people have with '03-'06 Chevys is moisture getting into the lower left (driver's side) assembly. If you have this problem, it is most likely a small marker light that is leaking water. Mine had obvious moisture around the gasket. I recommend using good quality vinyl tape or even silicone around all connectors.
