Great value for money exhaust. Very loud. Installation is very simple, contrary to the instructions (cut and grind the weld), just cut just before the weld. To hell with all that grinding. This takes too long and only gives you eight inches of extra pipe, which is totally unnecessary. It's very loud but not overly intrusive. It's annoying at low speeds, but above 70 km/h the wind noise predominates and is no longer audible. However, I always wear ear plugs after a 10 minute ride so it's not a problem. It reduces the bike's weight by 10 pounds, which is a huge plus and looks fantastic. It definitely pops and mumbles a ton when you slow down. So if that bothers you, you definitely need blocking plates or a flash. Given the quality of this tank and the Yamaha OEM head I really don't think there is any reason to turn down a complete system for this bike.
