After about 4 hours of segmented use the plastic on the plug started to burn or melt releasing a very noticeable chemical into the air and burning my eyes, I find plausible too that it could catch fire due to the heat and probably draws the most power from a cigarette socket on the market which is why I bought it. I wouldn't recommend this, however, as it's too much current for a plug that pulls heat away from the port.
