Review on Sutefoto Battery Adapter Compatible NP F550 by Jake Powell

My main need for this was to get full power out of the Rotolight Neo 2 without an outlet. Most of the rechargeable batteries I've found cost $100 to $300. Since I already have high capacity Kastar NP-F980 batteries, I wanted to use them more often. This battery plate makes it easy. I've also used it to power various LED panels and a field monitor. I can even use it as a power source for my USB mirrorless camera. (I only charge one device at a time.) Relieves the bulky weight of high-capacity batteries from devices, putting less strain on mounts. It snaps securely into place but is loose enough to make noise. It rattles a little when moving. This would be a problem when recording on the go. I'll fix this with some styrofoam tape so it won't be a big problem. A V-mount belt clip will most likely also be added to the setup. In general, the purchase is worthwhile. Will continue as soon as I use it a little more.
