Good quality and color

They were amazing. We used to install cedar shutters and panels. The golden color went well with natural panels filled with linden oil.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Great, great, great product!

I use them whenever a secure fit is needed. Like I said, I think this is a great product. I always buy them in different lengths. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Negative results present

Construction screws

These screws have proven their worth. They have a torx drive and come with a bit. Haven't used them long enough to determine if the finish is holding up but I'm very happy with how well they hold my wood together and how strong they are.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Long delivery time

They work great but require a pilot hole.

I used these instead of the good old reliable screws because they are advertised as not requiring pilot drilling. I have found that this is not the case. The sprocket works pretty well, but so do the hex heads on the old bolts.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Slightly snapped

This is the BEST money can buy!

This is EXCELLENT. We build hutches out of real wood straight from the sawmill at exactly 2"x 6" and progressing to 6"x 6" bars. We pre-drill a 2 x 6 and let the lag screw bite into a 6 x 6 for the remaining 2 inches. They hold these 2 x 6 very well and look very nice. All 12 foot arsenic free, 2 x 6 weighs 40 pounds. The head of the traverse on the screws holds perfectly.

Pros
  • Industrial and Scientific
Cons
  • Expensive

very good screws with bit included

Used them to assemble a bunk bed for my daughters. Runs great with the included racket. I tested a few in scrap with no pilot holes and they broke in very well. If you are only a few inches from the final grit I would recommend a pilot hole. Personally, I drilled pilot holes for each just to be on the safe side. They are a golden bronze color and go well with the opaque whitewash stain my daughters chose.

Pros
  • fasteners
Cons
  • unfashionable

Heavy bolts

Got these after they lowered the price and it was a real bargain for what I needed. Used them to hang vinyl/plastic blinds around our house after the stupid plastic anchors failed. The 4 inch length was necessary because previous homeowners had placed 1 inch foam under the vinyl siding they installed. Blinds, paneling, and foam board are 2.75" thick, so I figured a 4" wood screw would be perfect for cutting into the original wood paneling. Since our blinds are painted black I stuck the screws…

Pros
  • Turnbuckles
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
