Overall they are easy to use and appear to be durable. I installed a swing shower door on a cheap fiberglass shower that is 18 years old. After years of being disassembled for cleaning, the bolts holding the door to the fiberglass eventually stretched beyond the new bolt size. They are quite a chore to work with unless you have a big drill bit to put them in a hole. quite a monstrous hole in your drywall to get an anchor through relative to the size of the bolt, but that's how lever anchors work. Measure carefully and leave plenty of pencil marks so you can stay centered as you widen the hole to place the anchor. Fixing a 47 inch TV to the wall with metal studs made me look sad. My plan was to use old school screws or molly screws through a hole in a metal stud. I bought these to fit a closet system in my old house with plaster walls. Nothing seems to work within those walls without destroying them unless you can work directly with the rack. In general they worked very well. I had no problems with the plastic zipper breaking. Drilling a 1/2 inch hole in the wall is a little risky, but they hold up really well once you set them up correctly. My only complaint is that some of them don't stick to the wall very well. So far I've successfully installed 6 of these but 3 or even 4 broke in the process. This seems to be the main complaint with most of the other reviews. Wouldn't care, but about $1 for each anchor lost, which hurts fast. I think more detailed instructions could have saved me 1-2 of the ones that got lost. Most of the negative reviews are due to the 1/4" x20 threads in the metal rod being too tight, which can when Screwing in the bolt/screw may break the plastic end of the device on the metal rod. I installed 3 grab bars in our master bathroom, 1 in the toilet, 2 in the shower. After doing some research on how to do this for shower tiles and the tools and parts needed.
