Fixing a 47 inch TV to the wall with metal studs made me look sad. My plan was to use old school screws or molly screws through a hole in a metal stud. This will no doubt work, but these snap-action switches got the job done in less than 5 minutes, while I could have messed around with the long process of measuring and drilling a hole. I actually used them as an experiment because I just couldn't believe drywall could support that much weight by itself. It's only recently gone up, but it's strong and I'm sure it won't fall off the wall. I managed to break one of them in the wall while screwing it in, but that's probably because I didn't push it far enough into the hole I made in the wall, leaving some slack eventually caused the plastic part to break. User error, the product is great and the hardware that goes into it inspires confidence.
