Honestly I got this product for the aesthetic look. I recommend making sure you have a wrench for your stock aentenna but the installation was super easy! This is one of the best purchases you can make to refurbish or liven up your thinkpad. Open up command prompt and type "powercfg /batteryreport" to find the state of your current batteries. My used thinkpad had batteries had only 70% of capacity remaining. I was suspicious that this battery was going to be refurbished, and was pleasantly surprised that this amazon battery is at 100% of capacity. I bought this to support large tomato plants on a trellis system outside in the garden specifically because of the fact that, being nylon, it wouldn't suffer under intense UV rays like a cotton twine would. So far, they have held up very well to support the vines, some over 7' tall already with large tomatoes, through wind and rain.
