With a clear shot to the radio station towers it did pretty well. Was definitely not as good as the .

My 2014 Tundra has the HD radio and the signal would swap back and forth not picking up either really well where I live. With a clear shot to the radio station towers it did pretty well. Was definitely not as good as the 3' OEM and did not have a good reliable signal without clear line of sight. I was going to return it but didn't get around to it soon enough.

Pros
  • So far so good. I have noticed zero reception issues since i installed it. I looks great
Cons
  • Looks cool but terrible reception. I would not recommend unless you only use Bluetooth with phone

Same look/feel, but significantly shorter than the last one I bought

I bought an identical antenna for my F150 and it looks great and replicates a .50 caliber shell. I bought one for one of my coworkers using the same product page (but for a Toyota Tundra), and the antenna was very noticeably smaller and shorter. It still feels like it's made from the same material and looks the same, except it is about 2/3rd the size of the last one I purchased from CravenSpeed.

  • Great looking antenna but range sucks. If you only want for looks it’s worth it.
Cons
  • looks ok signal is not very good

Awesome product - my new review

Honestly I got this product for the aesthetic look. I recommend making sure you have a wrench for your stock aentenna but the installation was super easy! I haven't tested this out at the desert but I'm safely assuming it won't get good service but that's expected, so I'm keeping my stock aetnenna in the back of my truck.

  • For some Toyota Tundra owners, the traditional long antenna adds to the visual appeal of the truck. Therefore, the replacement of a long antenna with the CravenSpeed Bullet Style Stubby Antenna might not be visually appealing to these consumers

Very nice accent antenna

Very nice accent antenna. What you see is what you get. Have not tested the pickup signal for my fm radio since I'm using xm satellite or other radio apps to tune in to music. As far as adding accent detail to my red truck it has my two thumbs up, simple yet bad ass looking antenna.

Works great! on my review.

I fit perfectly, screwed on nice and tight. I live in Alaska and the reception i get from the stubby is just as clear as the long whiplash antenna i had on before.

CHECK THE SIZE! good for me

Looks good. Lost a little reception. In the description it says looks like a .50 cal round.This is misleading. It's more the size of a 30.06 in their defense they do show the actual measured length as a picture.The picture I have comparing the 2 rounds is a .50cal next to the antenna.

Great look, no noticeable change in reception

Came exactly as advertised. I haven't done it yet but will probably put LocTite on the threads to prevent theft or rattling the antenna loose.I don't listen to music on the radio often, usually ESPN, but can't really tell a difference in the reception. The bullet has a very solid feel too, which I'm happy with.Highly recommended!

Very happy with this product

Very happy with this product. Fits very well on my Tundra. Radio signal is slightly worse in some locations, but that is expected with the dramatically shorter size of the antenna. I would recommend this antenna, or any other Craven Speed product, to anyone looking to upgrade their vehicle.

Reception is a little weak.

Looks good but doesn't pick up the stations like the stock one. Radio reception with this antenna is horrible. Purchased an OEM antenna and replaced within two weeks! Not a big deal to me because I don't really listen to FM.
